He looked up into the night sky, staring at all thr stars, at the assigned o'clock. "Did she remember?" The thought coursed through his mind, leaving behind doubt and insecurity. "Of course she did." He promised himself. "She doesn't forget her promises."
She slipped into her dress - his favorite one in her closet. Barefoot, she exited the room through the window and walked across the grass. His watch on her wrist told her it was time. She looked up at the sky, the stars shining bright, mimicking the light from ships out at sea.
They were both lost in the sea ghosts, pretending each other was near. The sea ghosts sailed across the night sky, leaving behind unforgotten promises.
